We work hard to apply professional experience in numerous aspects of healthcare, education and construction in order to nurture living places to work and play, rest and recharge, grow and learn. We aim to foster healthy lifestyles that are kind to all earthlings, with emphases on dedicated recreational spaces and opportunities to put theory into practice. This includes recycling construction materials, disposing of hazardous waste, growing food, building trails, riding bikes, or just floating down a river.
We have experience moving through the civic, legal, and personal processes that shape our lives and which help get good, enduring things built - bike parks, pocket parks, community gardens, trails, food gleaning programs, and more. We've collaborated with workshops on animal welfare, nature writing, hazardous waste disposal, cooking for the houseless, outdoor education, bioDiesel, and more. Having grown up on large, far-northern California ranches and spent our combined 95 years right here, we've come to recognize the hard work and boots-on-the-ground dedication that it takes to make life flow a little better for everyone.
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in our community by promoting activities and building places that sustain and invigorate life.
